Applications are now officially open for the Shift Conference’s startup contest called the Shift Challenge where 24 startups will be chosen to pitch for the $ 10,000 grand prize this June in Split, Croatia.
This could be an amazing opportunity for registered projects to get an excellent media coverage and to get on the list of successful companies that made it, thanks to Y Combinator and Techstars – such as reddit, Airbnb, Dropbox and SendGrid.
Applications are open till May 17, 2021 and if you’re selected as one of the top 24 startups, we will notify you no later than May 24. The first round of pitching, preceded by intense one-on-one mentoring sessions, will take place on June 9 (this part will be closed to public and it will be held at an exclusive venue, The Split City Museum).
The teams will have the opportunity to pitch during the Shift Conference in front of the audience of more than 1200 people and a jury made up of some of the most influential people in the industry including TechCrunch, Y Combinator, 500 Startups, Techstars, Mashable, Union Square Ventures and many more.
After the final round of pitching at the conference, the three best startups will be selected and officially presented with cash prizes. The best startup will snag $ 10,000, the second best $ 3,000 and the third best $ 2,000!
